Coffee Rio is relaxing, well kept, clean.
The Coffee is really good and they have decent teas and a good menu of food to eat.
The staff are Nice. There are Newspapers to read.

Cafe Rio is one of the better places to eat in Hinckley. It is quite a small cafe and it does get busy so bear this in mind if visiting during peak times.
Their menu is good, they serve good coffee and have homemade cakes, and paninis etc and prices are average for this kind of cafe (approx £5 for a panini).
The seating is comfortable enough and they do have a couple of leather sofas which are great if you are having a coffee and meeting friends. In the summer they do have some tables outside which is lovely if the sun is shining.
The downside is that the serving area looks a bit grubby and dirty and some of the staff look the same! I was very disappointed last time I went in here. I wanted to get take away as I was on my lunch break. I waited over 5 minutes while 2 members of staff were making coffee for previous orders and clearing tables. I had no problem waiting but I did get very frustrated when the ladies were chatting rather than serving customers. After waiting a few more minutes and being ignored I left and went to 'This Cafe' instead where the service and food was fantastic. I don't think I will be in a hurry to visit Cafe Rio anytime soon. Such poor service! -

We met with some family members to exhange xmas pressies on Sunday as we all live in different parts of the country and had a warm welcome from the staff at the coffee shop. Coffee was very nice and the food was very good. I had a ham/mozarella pannini. The ham was good ham and the salad garnish was really fresh which can often be disappointing. The rest of the group were also very pleased with their food and said they would defiinately go again (a little far for us to go just for a coffee unfortunately) but a good spot for us all to meet half way in the future. We even took home some xmas cake and mince pies which made a nice snack for later. I love the idea of the swopping of books there - great idea. There were also some nice gifts available for sale but i'd already finished my xmas shopping! Well done Coffee Rio.
